These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VAULTS website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by VAULTS (“VAULTS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform.
1.1 “Platform” means the VAULTS web application, interface, and related services that enable users to interact with third-party decentralized protocols.
1.2 “User” means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
1.3 “Embedded Wallet” means the digital wallet used to authorize deposits and receive withdrawals, which is controlled by the User and may be provided through a third-party wallet provider.
1.4 “Vault Wallet” means a dedicated wallet created per User per vault that is used to execute the vault strategy. Vault Wallets are segregated and not pooled with other users.
1.5 “DeFi Protocols” means third-party, decentralized smart contracts, liquidity pools, and blockchain networks that the Platform may integrate with.
2.1 Interface + Automated Execution VAULTS provides a software interface that allows Users to allocate assets into vault strategies that may interact with third-party DeFi protocols. Strategy operations are executed automatically by code after a User authorizes a deposit intent.
2.2 Vault Wallet Model For each vault a User joins, VAULTS may create and operate a dedicated Vault Wallet for that User. You authorize transfers from your Embedded Wallet to the Vault Wallet through deposit intents. Vault Wallets are segregated per User and per vault and are not pooled in a shared smart contract.
2.3 Withdrawals Withdrawals are sent from the Vault Wallet back to your Embedded Wallet. You may be able to export your Embedded Wallet keys depending on your wallet provider.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use the Platform in your jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
DeFi activity involves substantial risk, including the risk of loss of funds due to market volatility, impermanent loss, smart contract vulnerabilities, or network failures.
VAULTS does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. All information provided through the Platform is for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
Vaults may charge a deposit fee and a performance fee. The performance fee applies only to gains and is charged on withdrawal, not while assets are held in the vault. Fee rates are displayed in the Platform and may change from time to time.
The Platform integrates with third-party wallets, protocols, networks, and service providers. VAULTS does not control and is not responsible for their operation, security, availability, or performance.
You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful activities, to attempt to exploit or interfere with the Platform, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. VAULTS disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VAULTS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of funds, profits, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms or discontinue the Platform at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
